Ingredients

Citizens

  • 800 g Ground beef
  • 8 slice Chester
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Iceberg lettuce
  • 8 slice Bacon
  • 4 Hamburger buns

sauce

  • 1 cups Mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp Sweet and sour cucumber relish
  • 2 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp White wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried onions
  • 1 tsp Garlic

Instructions

ingredients

  • Cut the iceberg lettuce and onion into slices and set aside. Cut the burger bun in half and let it crisp in the preheated oven. Fry the bacon until golden brown in the pan / grill.

sauce

  • Stir all ingredients together with a whisk or whisk and set aside.

Citizens

  • Season the ground beef with salt and pepper and shape into 8 very flat patties of 100gr each. Then sear them in oil or on the grill on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Brush the underside of the bun with sauce and put the lettuce on top. Then put a slice of meat, a slice of cheese, a slice of meat, a slice of cheese on top. Add the onions, bacon and another serving of sauce and at the end place the top of the bun on top. If necessary, fix it with a kebab skewer, better to eat with a knife and fork.

Note

  • With majo in a cup, I mean these small 250 gr cups from the refrigerated shelf. I always use the 80% fat sauce for the sauce, it tastes best. Bon Appetit 🙂

tip

  • The patties are best if you freeze the fresh, flat pieces of meat (you can also shape them with a burger press) and put them on the grill, so they keep their flat shape. Too cold to grill, then it is best to use a cast iron pan, Teflon pans are rather unsuitable.
