Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 100 g semolina
- 100 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- ½ bottle of lemon flavor
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 pinch of salt
- brown sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Separate the eggs. Bring the milk to a boil with the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon flavoring, and a pinch of salt, then slowly add the semolina. Let everything simmer briefly. Beat the egg whites until frothy. Pour the semolina into an ovenproof dish and spread the beaten egg whites on top. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 10-15 minutes.
