Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 liter of milk
- 90 g semolina
- 80 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- some strawberry jam or cinnamon sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Heat the milk, stirring constantly, until it boils. Be careful not to let it boil over. Remove the milk from the heat. Stir in the semolina with a whisk. Return to the heat plate and continue stirring with a wooden spoon over low heat. Remove from the heat occasionally. Stir constantly and be careful not to burn anything. Stir in the sugar and vanilla sugar and continue stirring until the desired consistency is reached. Then transfer to a deep bowl and let cool. Add a small spoonful of jam to the center or sprinkle the porridge with cinnamon sugar. Can be enjoyed hot or cold.
