Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 ½ kg rhubarb
- 2 kg fruit (service pears), approx.
- 150 g sugar, more or less, it’s a matter of taste
- 2 pieces star anise
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Rhubarb juice with rock pears
Cut the washed rhubarb into smaller pieces and place it in the steam juicer. Sprinkle the sugar over it and add the star anise. Fill the pot with the serviceberries and simmer for 1 hour. While still boiling hot, pour into screw-top bottles and seal immediately. Piccolo bottles are ideal; they can be closed with plastic screw caps from water bottles.
