Sesame cheese on orange slices

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 oranges
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • Lemon balm

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Toast the sesame seeds in a hot pan without fat until fragrant. Remove and let cool. Peel the oranges, removing even the white parts. Cut the oranges into thick slices and place on a plate. Whisk the cream cheese, quark, and cream until smooth. Stir in 3 tablespoons of cooled sesame seeds and chill. Scoop the quark mixture into balls, arrange them on the orange slices, and sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds. Grind over some freshly ground pepper. Garnish with lemon balm.
