Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg pork goulash
  • 2 medium-sized onions, coarsely chopped
  • 125 g bacon, sliced, not too thin
  • 3 bell peppers, diced (approx. 2 x 2 cm)
  • 125 ml meat broth, seasoned
  • 500 g ketchup
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 pinch of garlic granules
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper, nB

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 hours; Total time approx. 4 hours 20 minutes

Heat the oil in a separate pan. Briefly but quickly sear the meat cubes on all sides and place them in the ceramic insert. In the same pan, fry the bacon and diced onion for a few minutes over medium heat. Add the onion mixture to the pot and mix the ingredients slightly. Top with the bell pepper pieces, making sure to level the sauce as much as possible. Stir the meat broth, ketchup, curry powder, paprika, and garlic granules into a thick sauce. Pour this evenly over the ingredients. Cover. The simmering time is approximately 4-5 hours on the highest setting (HIGH), or 6-7 hours on the medium setting (MEDIUM or AUTOMATIC). If desired, add a little salt and pepper to taste. Rice, pasta, or fries go well with this dish. Tip: This dish is very popular with children!
