Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup oil, neutral
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup orange soda
  • Sugar icing, chocolate icing or
  • whipped cream
  • Sugar sprinkles

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

also called fizzy cake or Fanta cake – basic recipe

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, and oil, then gradually add the flour and baking powder and stir in. Now stir in the lemonade with a mixer. Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 20-25 minutes. Once cooled, drizzle with icing, chocolate, or whipped cream, or decorate with sprinkles or other sweets.
