Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of sheep’s cheese or goat’s cheese
  • 1 bag of sesame seeds (approx. 250 g)
  • 8 tbsp honey
  • 1 piece(s) butter (approx. 1 cm thick)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Place the sesame seeds in a soup bowl and coat the cheese slices in them. Heat the butter in a pan (high heat). Fry the cheese slices on both sides until the sesame seeds turn golden yellow. Reduce the heat to the second lowest setting. Drizzle the honey over the slices and let them cook, covered, for about 10 minutes. If you want the honey to caramelize, brush the slices with honey on both sides and reduce the heat until the honey has caramelized.
