Sheet banana cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • ⅛ liter of oil
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 250 g quark (cottage cheese)
  • ¼ liter cream
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 8 bananas
  • chocolate glaze

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

for approx. 15 pieces

Dough: Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks and sugar until frothy, slowly stir in the oil and water, then mix in the flour, baking powder, and cocoa. Finally, carefully fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. Spread the batter on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 20-25 minutes. Cream: Prepare the pudding as usual and let it cool completely. Beat the butter and sugar until frothy, stir in the curd cheese. Gradually add the cold pudding. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in. Cut the bananas into not-too-thin slices and cover the cold cake with them, spread the cream over it, and cover with chocolate glaze – chill! Then cut into approx. 15 pieces.
