Sheet Cake: Quick Mulled Wine Slices

The perfect sheet cake: quick mulled wine slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Dark chocolate
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 200 g Soft butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 tsp Tartar baking powder
  • 275 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 3 tsp Ginger bread spice
  • 160 g Mulled wine
  1. Process all ingredients into a batter. In the Thermomix z. B. Mix for 60 seconds at level 6. Then spread the dough in an approx. 30 x 40 cm baking pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees top / bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
  2. Then cover the cooled cake with either a chocolate or mulled wine glaze (for mulled wine glaze, mix approx. 25 g mulled wine with 120 g powdered sugar). Decorate with sprinkles etc. if you like.
  3. Also works with non-alcoholic children’s punch.
