Ingredients for 6 servings:
- Oil, for frying
- 1,500 g minced meat
- 3 large onions
- 6 cloves garlic
- 3 m.-sized carrot(s)
- 15 mushrooms
- 4 tbsp flour
- Salt
- pepper
- Caraway seeds
- 3 cubes of stock
- 2,000 g potatoes
- Milk
- 3 cloves garlic
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Finely chop the onion and sauté in a little oil, briefly fry the sliced garlic and carrots, then add the minced meat and sliced mushrooms. Fry everything until the minced meat is cooked through. Dust with 4 tablespoons of flour, season with stock cube, salt, pepper, and caraway seeds, and pour in hot water until it reaches a creamy consistency. Simmer for a further 10 minutes. Make mashed potatoes from the 2 kg of potatoes, milk, salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and crushed garlic. Transfer the minced meat mixture to a suitable casserole dish, spread the mashed potatoes over the top, and bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes, until the mashed potatoes have taken on a good brown color.
