Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g lamb fillet(s)
  • 100 ml oil (olive oil)
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 4 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 6 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tsp cumin

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Pat the meat dry and cut into 20 equal-sized cubes. Combine olive oil with lemon juice, oregano, and crushed garlic. Add the meat cubes, season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for about 3 hours. Peel and quarter the onions. Wash the tomatoes. Thread the meat onto 4 skewers, alternating with the meat, brush with the marinade, and grill for about 15 minutes. Turn halfway through and brush again. Sprinkle with cumin. Serve with flatbread or rice.
