Shrimp and spring onion skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 ½ kg shrimp(s), ready to cook
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 12 spring onions

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Soak wooden skewers in water for about an hour, and oil metal skewers. Crush the garlic and mix with lime juice and olive oil. Pour over the shrimp, mix, and let stand for at least an hour. Trim the spring onions and cut them into approximately 4 cm long pieces. Alternate them with the shrimp. Cook the skewers on the grill or in a pan until the shrimp change color.
