Sicilian pistachio pizza

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of pizza dough
  • 2 slices of Italian cooked ham (large slices)
  • 1 pack of ground pistachios (small pack)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Roll out the dough thinly and evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush generously with olive oil. Spread the cream cheese flakes on top. It’s best to use a teaspoon to form small dumplings, space them evenly on the dough, and then press them down slightly. Season everything well with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat) at 200°C on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven when the dough is golden brown. Now top the pizza with cooked ham cut into bite-sized pieces, sprinkle generously (!) with ground pistachios, sprinkle with chili flakes, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve.
