Side Dish: Mashed Potatoes with Thermomix

- 1 kg Potatoes
- 285 g Water
- 1,5 tsp Salt
- 30 g Soft butter
- 1 Msp Nutmeg
- 180 g Milk
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces (depending on how big they are). Cook the potatoes, water and salt in the Thermomix for 25 minutes at 100 degrees on level Then add butter, nutmeg and milk and stir for 20 seconds on speed 4 using the spatula, if necessary.
- If you want a Mediterranean puree, then instead of salt, butter and nutmeg add 20 g olive oil and 35 g Parmesan after cooking. Other vegetables also go well with it: celery, carrots, broccoli or cauliflower etc … Simply put them in the mixing bowl together with the potatoes at the beginning.
- If you only need half the amount for 2 people, simply cut all the ingredients in half, but with 160 g of water (not 140 g). The cooking time remains the same … set one minute less.
