Side Dish: Vegetables – Wild Rice
The perfect side dish: vegetables – wild rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Cup Wild rice colorful
- 1 packet Buttered vegetables
- 2 cups Vegetable broth / water
- Mix the rice with the vegetable stock (powder, homemade) and the water, prepare and bring to a boil. Let simmer for about 15 minutes (the rice will be soft and the water will slowly escape)
- Now add the vegetables and simmer the rice until soft (about 5 minutes), then the water should almost be gone, turn off the stove and let the rice rest for about 10 minutes (so the rice swells again and the water is gone)
- As a side dish for everything ;-)))
