Simple Baked Chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1,300 g chicken pieces
  • 800 g potatoes (preferably waxy)
  • 1 orange(s), untreated
  • 3 sprigs rosemary, fresh
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

with potatoes and orange slices

Rinse the chicken pieces and pat dry. Peel and wash the potatoes, then cut into 1/2 cm slices. Halve the orange and slice it as well. Wash and roughly tear the rosemary. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl with the oil and season generously with the spices. Spread everything on a baking sheet or in a large casserole dish and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve with a mixed leaf salad. Tip: If you don’t have an orange on hand, you can also use 1-2 untreated lemons.
