Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 bananas
  • 60 g oat flakes, alternatively millet flakes
  • 1 tbsp, heaped cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp, heaped almonds, ground
  • 2 tbsp, heaped walnuts, ground
  • 2 tbsp, heaped hazelnuts, ground
  • some hazelnuts, ground, to roll the balls in

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Baby Led Weaning (BLW), sugar-free, from about 7 months, tastes good for the whole family, makes about 25 balls

Peel the bananas and mash with a fork. Stir in the oats, cocoa powder, and nuts and mix well. Let the mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. The mixture should be firm; if it’s too soft, add more oats and nuts. Form small balls and roll them in ground hazelnuts. Store the balls in a cool, well-wrapped container and consume within 24 hours. Add a little vanilla bean pulp, orange zest, or Ceylon cinnamon for an even more delicious flavor. This yields approximately 25 medium balls or approximately 30 small balls for babies.
