Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups wheat flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- Butter and flour for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
First steps: Use a 200 ml coffee cup to measure. Beat the eggs, oil, milk and sugar in a mixer until smooth. Sift the wheat flour and baking powder into a bowl and mix well. Add the wet mixture and stir gently with a spatula or whisk until combined. Grease a 28 cm round baking pan with butter, dust with flour and pour in the cake batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (top/bottom heat) for about 40 minutes. When inserted with a skewer, the skewer should come out clean. Let the cake cool slightly, then remove from the pan. Tip: If you like, you can sprinkle with powdered sugar or cover with a syrup of your choice.
