Simple, quick loaf of bread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g wheat flour type 550
  • 300 g wheat flour type 1050
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 40 g margarine
  • 420 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 cube of fresh yeast
  • Margarine for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

wonderfully fluffy, soft crust, soft crumb

Important: Do not preheat the oven. Mix the wheat flour and salt. Put half of it in a bowl. Add the honey and margarine and cover with the remaining flour mixture. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water, add it to the mixture, and mix with a hand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Pour the dough into a greased pan and place it on a rack in the middle of a cold oven. I always use two small pans. Place a small bowl of water on the bottom of the oven. Bake the bread at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 45 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan, return it to the oven rack, and bake for another 10 minutes. Do the skewer test, then let the bread cool completely on a wire rack.
