Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg roast pork (preferably neck)
  • 3 onions, cut into rings
  • ¾ tbsp mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 ml water
  • olive oil
  • n. B. garlic
  • n. B. cornstarch

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Made quickly

Sear the pork roast in a roasting pan in olive oil on all sides. Then remove the meat and fry the onions in the oil. Meanwhile, brush the pork roast with mustard, salt, and pepper. When the onions are golden brown, return the meat to the roasting pan and place the onions on top. If desired, halve the garlic cloves and add them. Pour in the water, cover the roasting pan, and place in the oven at 170°C (350°F) for 60-75 minutes. When the meat is tender, remove it and pour the sauce into a saucepan. There won’t be much sauce, but it will be rich. Bring to a boil, remove the garlic if desired, and puree the sauce. Thicken slightly if desired.
