Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 140 g butter
- 140 g sugar
- 140 g chocolate (cooking chocolate)
- 140 g flour
- 1 pinch of baking powder
- 4 eggs, including the yolk
- 4 eggs, of which the egg whites
- 1 jar apricot jam
- 1 cup cake icing, chocolate
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
To soften the butter, sugar, and egg yolks, gently stir in softened chocolate, then lightly mix in the flour mixed with baking powder and the stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake the mixture in the prepared cake tin at 180°C for about 60 minutes. Once cooled, spread a thin layer of apricot jam and cover with chocolate glaze. Serve with whipped cream.
