Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), waxy
  • 1 tsp salt
  • black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tsp rosemary, dried or fresh
  • 4 tbsp oil (olive oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes or wedges. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick pan and fry the potatoes until well browned. Season with salt, pepper, and rosemary. Then add a little water so that the potatoes are just covered and simmer over high heat. Once the liquid has completely evaporated, fry the potatoes briefly again until golden brown on all sides. It goes perfectly with pan-fried dishes like steak or chops; we also like it as a side dish during barbecue season!
