Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g pork strips
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 10 dried apricots
  • 300 ml liquid from the mushrooms
  • 1 tsp roast sauce powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • rosemary
  • lots of marjoram
  • Oil for frying

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

light and quick pork dish

Cut the apricots into small pieces. Place the pork and apricots in a bowl. Add the spices and knead everything with your hands. Then chill in the refrigerator for half an hour to marinate. Drain the mushrooms, reserving the liquid and adding water to make up to 300 ml. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meat with the apricots. Add the mushrooms and cook. Pour in the mushroom liquid and thicken slightly with gravy or sauce thickener, then simmer for about 8 minutes. Season again with the spices and serve. Rice goes best with this dish.
