Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg Kasseler, mildly smoked
- 1 small can of mushrooms
- 1 small can of pineapple
- 2 tbsp cranberries
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 cup(s) curry ketchup
- 1 cup(s) Hungarian-style paprika sauce
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 13 hours 10 minutes
Cut the smoked pork into not-too-thick slices and arrange them fan-shaped in a baking dish. Arrange the mushrooms and pineapple on top. Mix the curry ketchup, paprika sauce, cranberries, and the sweet cream and pour over the meat. Refrigerate overnight. The next day, bake in the oven at 200°C (400°F) for 1 hour. Mushrooms and pineapple can also be used fresh.
