Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg cucumber(s)
  • 50 g bacon
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • Salt

Instructions

Wash, peel, halve, and deseed the cucumbers. Cut the flesh into finger-sized pieces. Dice the bacon and fry in a saucepan. Peel and chop the onion and fry in the bacon fat until golden brown. Add the cucumber pieces and sauté in the bacon fat and its own juices until translucent – ​​they should remain firm to the bite. Season with salt and lemon juice, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve.
