Small yeast cakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cube of yeast, fresh or 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some mineral water
  • n. B. Fat (e.g. Biskin or Palmin) for frying
  • possibly cinnamon – sugar for sprinkling
  • possibly sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the milk to lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it. Combine the flour, sugar, eggs, and salt. Add the yeast and milk, and a little mineral water if needed, and stir until a smooth batter forms. Fry the small cakes in a pan with hot fat (preferably Biskin or Palmin) until golden brown on both sides. Sprinkle the finished cakes with sugar or cinnamon-sugar, depending on your taste.
