Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 fish (e.g. mackerel), smoked
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 small gherkins or mustard pickles
  • ½ m.-sized apple
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (table vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp cucumber juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch of garlic granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Skin the smoked fish, cut it lengthwise, and debone it. Peel the fillets piece by piece with a fork, removing any remaining bones. Dice the onion and cucumbers and mix in. Peel 1/2 apple, remove the core, and dice them into small cubes. Mix in the vinegar, oil, and cucumber juice, and season with pepper and garlic granules.
