Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g Kasseler (alternatively cooked ham)
  • 1 jar of pickles
  • 1 jar cucumber(s) (mustard pickles)
  • 1 jar pumpkin flesh, sweet and sour
  • 250 g tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp vinegar
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 tsp horseradish
  • 3 tbsp herbs (dill, chives, parsley)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Dice the smoked pork, cucumbers, pumpkin, and tomatoes. Mix the vinegar, oil, horseradish, salt, pepper, and finely chopped herbs to make a marinade. Finely chop the egg whites and add them. Mix the marinade thoroughly with the remaining ingredients and let everything marinate.
