Smoked pork with a hood

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of smoked pork chop
  • 4 slices of pineapple (can)
  • 8 slices of cheese (any kind)
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • ¼ liter white wine (not too sweet)
  • 2 tbsp crème fraîche
  • Pepper, black from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the margarine in a pan. Brown the smoked pork chops briskly on both sides. Remove the pan from the heat, cover the chops with the pineapple slices (1 or 2 depending on size), then place two slices on top. Season with black pepper, add at least 1/4 liter of white wine, and simmer with the lid on for another 5-7 minutes over medium heat until the cheese has melted. Remove the chops from the pan, keep warm for a short while, bring the sauce to the boil, and then reduce briefly with the crème fraîche. It will then become nice and creamy. The aroma of the smoked pork, pineapple, and wine gives the sauce a really great flavor. I always use more wine because there is never enough sauce. Enjoy!
