  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 200 ml milk, lactose-free
  • 200 ml cream, lactose-free
  • 200 g cheese, grated, lactose-free
  • some salt and pepper
  • some flour, gluten-free
  • some oil or fat
  • possibly dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Lactose and gluten-free version, of course also possible with “normal” ingredients and delicious

Peel the raw potatoes and slice them thinly. Peel the onions and dice them, then dust them lightly with flour. Brown them in a little oil or butter in a large pot. Pour in the milk and cream. Add the potato slices and season with salt and pepper. Simmer in the covered pot over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. If you like, you can add chopped dill at the end. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180°C (fan). Place about half of the cream-coated potatoes in a baking dish, spread the smoked salmon on top, then top with the remaining cream-coated potatoes. Sprinkle with the cheese and put it in the oven. When the cheese is nice and golden brown – enjoy! A fresh field salad goes perfectly with this.
