Smoked Salmon Salad with Apple and Horseradish

The perfect smoked salmon salad with apple and horseradish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Also makes a good New Year’s Eve buffet! 🙂 with fresh baguette!

  • 375 g Stremel salmon hot smoked
  • 1 smaller Apple Breaburn
  • 2 Rods Celery

Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise, I took light
  • 3 tbsp Sour cream 10% fat
  • 50 ml Cream 10% fat
  • 1 tsp Dill fresh or dried
  • 1 Tl Seasoned salt from my KB:

  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice

Salad preparation:

  1. Roughly pluck the tremel salmon. Wash the apple and cut into fine strips! I took a Julienne peeler for this. Drizzle some lime juice over the apple strips so they don’t turn brown!
  2. Cut off celery at the top and bottom and then pull off the fine threads at the same time! It’s not doing well between your teeth! 😀 Then halve lengthways and dice. Put all the prepared ingredients in a bowl!

Salad dressing:

  1. Mix the majo, sour cream, and heavy cream. Season with dill, seasoned salt, pepper and lime juice and season to taste! Let it steep for 10 minutes! Serve!
  2. WE HAVE POTATOES THIS TIME! BUT ALSO GOES GOOD WITH FRESH BAGUETTE!
