Smoked Salmon Salad with Apple and Horseradish
The perfect smoked salmon salad with apple and horseradish recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Also makes a good New Year’s Eve buffet! 🙂 with fresh baguette!
- 375 g Stremel salmon hot smoked
- 1 smaller Apple Breaburn
- 2 Rods Celery
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise, I took light
- 3 tbsp Sour cream 10% fat
- 50 ml Cream 10% fat
- 1 tsp Dill fresh or dried
- 1 Tl Seasoned salt from my KB:
- Pepper from the grinder
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
Salad preparation:
- Roughly pluck the tremel salmon. Wash the apple and cut into fine strips! I took a Julienne peeler for this. Drizzle some lime juice over the apple strips so they don’t turn brown!
- Cut off celery at the top and bottom and then pull off the fine threads at the same time! It’s not doing well between your teeth! 😀 Then halve lengthways and dice. Put all the prepared ingredients in a bowl!
Salad dressing:
- Mix the majo, sour cream, and heavy cream. Season with dill, seasoned salt, pepper and lime juice and season to taste! Let it steep for 10 minutes! Serve!
- WE HAVE POTATOES THIS TIME! BUT ALSO GOES GOOD WITH FRESH BAGUETTE!
