Smoked salmon skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped
  • 100 g grated cheese of your choice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 8 slices of toast
  • 8 slices of salmon (smoked salmon)
  • 3 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the crème fraîche, parsley, dill, and cheese with the egg yolk and season with salt and pepper. Remove the crusts from the toast and spread the crème fraîche on four slices. Top with salmon and spread with more crème fraîche. Press the unbuttered slices firmly onto the filled slices. Heat the oil in a pan. In a plate, whisk the three eggs and season with salt. Coat the filled slices of toast thoroughly in the egg on both sides and fry in the oil until golden brown. Remove and drain. Cut the toast slices in half crosswise and serve. Green salads can be served with the bread.
