Smoked salmon terrine

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 4 sheets of gelatin
  • 250 g smoked salmon
  • 150 g mayonnaise
  • 150 ml cream
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes

Soak the gelatin in a little water and then melt it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Place all ingredients, except the gelatin, in a blender and puree. Finally, add the gelatin and season with lemon juice and salt, if desired. Note that gelatin mellows the flavor of the ingredients, so you can add a little more lemon and salt if you like. Brush the terrine dish or smaller molds with sunflower oil, pour in the mixture, and refrigerate. Then turn out onto a platter and enjoy. This goes very well with beetroot jelly with horseradish sauce.
