Smokey's Pear and Bacon Spread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 large pear(s), not too soft
  • 150 g bacon cubes
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp cream
  • 2 sprigs of parsley, flat, finely chopped
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Rustic spread

Fry the bacon in a dry pan until crispy and drain on kitchen paper. Peel and core the pear, and cut into very fine cubes. Blend the cream cheese with the cream until creamy and season with cayenne pepper, pepper, and salt (careful, the bacon is also salty). Mix the pear, bacon cubes, and parsley into the cream cheese. This spread goes well with fresh farmhouse bread.
