Snow Peas with Ajvar

The perfect snow peas with ajvar recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Snow peas
  • 2 Toes Fresh garlic
  • 2 tbsp Ajvar mild
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 100 ml Portuguese white autumn
  • 5 Grains Pimento
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  1. Halve or third the pods.
  2. Chop the garlic into small pieces.
  3. Finely grind the allspice.
  4. Everything else happens over medium heat in the pan: first sweat the garlic in the oil.
  5. Add the snow peas and allspice, fry a little, then mix in the ajvar.
  6. Deglaze with wine when it starts to boil: put the lid on! About 3 minutes.
  7. Season to taste with pepper and salt.
  8. Serve immediately, the pods are still crunchy and incredibly green!
