Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 400 g cream cheese (cream cheese)
- 500 g low-fat curd cheese
- 400 g sweet cream
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 200 g sugar
- 2 jars of morello cherries
- 200 g almond flakes
- some sugar for caramelizing
- some butter for caramelizing
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
white like the cream, red like the cherries and brown like the roasted almonds
Whip the cream until stiff and mix with all the ingredients except the almonds and cherries. Drain the cherries. Pour half of the cream into a bowl. Spread the drained cherries on top, then pour the remaining cream over the cherries. Heat a little butter in a pan and sprinkle in the sugar. Immediately add the almonds, mix well, and keep stirring. Once the almonds begin to turn slightly brown, spread them out on baking paper and let them cool briefly. Spread them over the dessert while still warm, creating a uniform surface.
