Beautiful, quick craft for Christmas from the kitchen – great for children
These sweet souvenirs are quick and easy to make. Mix icing from powdered sugar and a little lemon juice. Use a biscuit (butter biscuit or similar) for the base, spread some icing on top, then attach the three gingerbread cookies on top of each other. Glue the chocolate wreath onto the top gingerbread cookie, and then the domino on top. Hold it in place for a moment and wait until the icing sets. You can also use chocolate coating as an adhesive, but even then, wait until the chocolate sets and sticks. Then use chocolate coating or food coloring to paint on the eyes and buttons. The nose is made with icing and a small (mini) Smartie. You can also stick a lollipop or these chocolate Mikado sticks next to it as a broom, but they’re also delicious as they are. I made them with my children in no time, packed them in cookie bags, and you have a wonderful souvenir, for example, for neighbors, grandparents, or as table decoration. Then you can sprinkle some powdered sugar over it.
