Soccer Field Cake

The perfect soccer field cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 10 Eggs
  • 500 g Butter
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 packet Butter

For the lawn:

  • 400 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 150 g Powdered sugar

Decoration:

  • 1 Protein
  • 125 Powdered sugar
  • 125 Green food color
  • Gummy bear
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °. Grease a deep baking sheet with a little butter. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff.
  1. Beat the egg yolks with butter and sugar until frothy. Cut the marzipan mixture into small pieces and whisk in. Add flour, baking powder and egg whites and stir in briefly. Pour the dough into the baking sheet and bake in the oven at 160 ° for about 45 minutes. Chopstick sample! Let cool down.
  1. For the decoration, knead the marzipan mixture with powdered sugar and the green color of the food thoroughly. Roll out approx. 3/4 of the mixture thinly to the size of a cake between two layers of cling film. Place the marzipan playing field on top of the cake. Press the remaining mixture through a garlic press and decorate the edge.
  1. Mix powdered sugar with egg white until frothy. Pour into a freezer bag and cut off a small corner. So that the lines draw on the playing field and stick the gummy bears in place.
