World Cup Soccer Cake
The perfect world cup soccer cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the biscuit:
- 12 Pc. Eggs
- 180 g Sugar
- 200 g Flour
For the ornament:
- 500 ml Cream
- 150 g Sugar
- 0,5 tsp Food color green
- 0,5 tsp Food coloring black
Special utensil:
- Football-Shaped baking pan
For the biscuit
- Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites very stiff.
- Put the egg yolks in a second bowl, add the sugar and flour and mix everything well.
- Carefully fold the stiffly beaten egg white into the egg mixture.
- Divide the dough into two baking tins: finger-high a flat baking tin (20 x 30 cm), pour the rest into the football baking tin (approx. 20 cm in diameter). Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool down.
For the ornament:
- Whip the cream with the sugar until stiff and divide into three containers.
- Mix one third of the cream with the green, a second third with the black food coloring. Fill separately in piping bags.
- Place the flat sponge cake base on a plate, place the football-shaped sponge cake in the middle.
- Use the black and white cream to shape the curved sponge cake like a soccer ball. Spread the green cream on the flat sponge cake as a meadow. The eye-catcher for the soccer party is ready!
