Soul-soothing porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 cup cereal flakes (five-grain flakes),
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 pear(s)
  • 1 tbsp, levelled honey
  • 1 tbsp, levelled cocoa
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • n. B. Nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

a delicious porridge with pear and cocoa – perfect for starting a bad weather day

Cut the pear into bite-sized pieces. Add the cereal flakes, cocoa, honey, and salt to the milk. Bring everything to a boil in a sufficiently large saucepan. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the pear and heat briefly. Divide the mixture between two bowls. Sprinkle nuts over the porridge, if desired. Enjoy while still warm. If you prefer it a little more liquid, increase the amount of milk; if you prefer it a little more porridge, reduce the amount. This also works great with soy milk.
