Soup Kitchen: Kohlrabi and Garlic Soup

The perfect soup kitchen: kohlrabi and garlic soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Kohlrabi fresh
  • 2 size Floury potatoes
  • 3 Shallots
  • 100 g Butter
  • 2 Solo garlic
  • 800 ml Vegetable broth
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Salt
  • White milled pepper
  • 4 tsp Creme fraiche Cheese
  1. Peel the kohlrabi and potatoes and cut into pieces. Peel and chop shallots. Peel and press the garlic
  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan, sauté the garlic, add onions, kohlrabi and potatoes and sauté for about 5 minutes. Top up with vegetable stock and simmer for 25 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Puree with the blender. Season well with nutmeg, salt and pepper
  1. Place on a plate or in a soup bowl, put 1 dollop of crème fraîche in the middle and serve
