Soup: Onion Soup
The perfect soup: onion soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 5 Onions
- 1 El Clarified butter
- 125 ml White wine
- 400 ml Chicken stock
- 1 El Sweet paprika
- Salt and pepper
- Nutmeg
- 4 Discs Toast
- 50 g Grated cheese
- Cut the onions into slices and fry them in clarified butter, add a pinch of sugar and sauté briefly and stir in the paprika. Deglaze with the wine and fill up with the stock, then cook everything well.
- Roast the toast, fill the soup into bowls, then add the bread and the cheese on top and bake.
