Soup: Onion Soup

The perfect soup: onion soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 5 Onions
  • 1 El Clarified butter
  • 125 ml White wine
  • 400 ml Chicken stock
  • 1 El Sweet paprika
  • Salt and pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • 4 Discs Toast
  • 50 g Grated cheese
  1. Cut the onions into slices and fry them in clarified butter, add a pinch of sugar and sauté briefly and stir in the paprika. Deglaze with the wine and fill up with the stock, then cook everything well.
  2. Roast the toast, fill the soup into bowls, then add the bread and the cheese on top and bake.
