Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g sour cherries, pitted, in pieces
- 75 g bell pepper(s), red, finely chopped
- 40 g onion(s), red, finely chopped
- 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
- 1 chili pepper(s), fresh, green, pitted
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt
- 1 tbsp coriander greens, coarsely chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Fruity side dish to grilled meat
Simmer all ingredients partially covered over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Cook uncovered for another 5 minutes. Let cool in a bowl and add salt to taste. Stir in the coarsely chopped cilantro. Store the salsa in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
