Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g sour cherries, pitted, in pieces
  • 75 g bell pepper(s), red, finely chopped
  • 40 g onion(s), red, finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 1 chili pepper(s), fresh, green, pitted
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander greens, coarsely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fruity side dish to grilled meat

Simmer all ingredients partially covered over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Cook uncovered for another 5 minutes. Let cool in a bowl and add salt to taste. Stir in the coarsely chopped cilantro. Store the salsa in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
