Soy Schnitzel

The perfect soy schnitzel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 size Soy meat schnitzel dry product
  • Sifted flour
  • Paprika powder
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Oil
  • Water
  • Salt
  1. Let the soy schnitzel soak in hot water for 30 minutes, then squeeze out the water.
  2. Now salt the schnitzel + season with paprika powder. or a spice of your choice.
  3. Mix a “glutinous” breading base from water + flour and turn the schnitzel in it well. now turn the schnitzel in breadcrumbs.
  4. Put the schnitzel in the deep fryer for 5 minutes at 175 degrees, or bake in the pan.
  5. these schnitzel are very inexpensive if you order them directly online, they cost 30 cents per schnitzel. they are far too expensive in the bio shop.
  6. I serve them with tzaziki, hummus + salad
