Toffee Kisses

The perfect toffee kisses recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 130 g Sugar
  • 1 Baggage Vanilla sugar
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 200 g Flour
  • 20 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Brazil nuts
  • 150 g Cream toffees
  • 4 tbsp Cream
  1. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Add egg yolk, salt, cocoa powder, milk and flour and stir again. Finish kneading the dough by hand and shape it into a ball. Wrap in foil and let rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  2. Chop the Brazil nut kernels (optionally pecans) into small pieces. Take the dough out of the refrigerator, shape into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Slightly whip the egg whites and roll the dough balls first through the egg white and then through the chopped nuts. Before baking, make small indentations in the balls and bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 15 minutes.
  4. Melt the cream toffees in a saucepan with the cream, stirring constantly. Take the baked cookies out of the oven and press the indentations while they are warm. Now pour the warm toffee cream into the depression. Let it get cold at the end.
