Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 5 eggs
- 250 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- Fat for the pan
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the flour, eggs, water, and salt into a thick batter. Bring plenty of salted water to a boil in a large pot. Scrape the batter into the water in portions using a spatula or press it through a spaetzle press. After 5 minutes, remove the cooked spaetzle, rinse briefly under cold water, and drain well. Toss the spaetzle in a well-greased pan and reheat, but do not fry. Then transfer to a warmed bowl. Delicious with any meat dish with sauce.
