Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 5 onions, red
- 80 g butter, melted
- 150 g cream
- ½ tsp oregano
- Salt and pepper, black from the mill
- 150 g Parmesan or Grana Padano, freshly grated
- 500g spaghetti
- salt water
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Roman sin
Cook the spaghetti in salted water according to the package instructions. Peel and finely chop the onions, then sauté them in melted butter until translucent. Blend with an immersion blender until fluffy. Add the cream, oregano, salt, and plenty of freshly ground black pepper. Simmer for five minutes. Combine the sauce and pasta and serve sprinkled with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan (or Grana Padano). I recommend serving with red wine.
