Spaghetti Blognaise

The perfect spaghetti blognaise recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 2 Cans Chopped tomatoes
  • 500 g Sieved tomatos
  • 1 glass Red wine
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 Chopped cloves of garlic
  • Salt / pepper / paprieka / curry
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • Herbs as desired
  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • 100 g Grated Parmesan
  • Olive oil
  1. Peel the onion and garlic and cut into small cubes. Fry both in a saucepan in olive oil. Add minced meat and fry well.
  1. When the minced meat is seared, add the tomato paste to bind the liquid. Roast everything a little and deglaze with the red wine. When the red wine has boiled down add the strained tomatoes and the chopped tomatoes.
  1. Season the tomato sauce with the spices and sugar and simmer for at least 2 hours at a low temperature. (The longer the better)
  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions and serve with the bolognaise sauce and the Parmesan
