Spaghetti Bolognese À La Papa

The perfect spaghetti bolognese à la papa recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Beef meat
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Carrots
  • 0,5 Red chilli pepper
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 0,25 pole Leek
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 glass Tomatoes + roasted onions 350 g
  • 350 ml Me
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 350 g Spaghetti
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 100 g Parmesan
  1. Peel and finely dice the carrots. Peel onion and chop finely. Clean, wash and finely dice the chilli pepper. Peel and finely dice the ginger and garlic. Clean and wash the leek, quarter lengthways and cut into rings. Fry the beef mince in a saucepan with oil (2 tbsp) until crumbly and take out again. Put the vegetables (diced carrots, diced onions, diced chili peppers, diced ginger, diced garlic and leek rings) in the pot and sauté / stir-fry. Add the mince again and, if necessary, add a little water again and again and let everything simmer for about 20 minutes. Add the glass of tomato sauce, salt (1 teaspoon) and milk (350 ml / rinse the tomato sauce glass with the milk) and let everything simmer carefully for about 20 – 30 minutes (the longer, the better!). Season well with sugar (1 tbsp), sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp) and sweet chilli sauce (2 tbsp).
